PuYi and Manchukuo

Puyi's 4th wife who eventually left him after a loveless marriage and worked in the library, remarried and had children: uncanny resemblance to Ann's sister
Puyi's personal barbers chair where he had hormone injections: not that it did him any good.
Anybody recognise this? Its the hall where they have the ball in the Last Emperor ala Bertolucci in which they toasted the "Emperor for 10,000 years": it was a bit shorter than that.
The buildings that the Japanese built to run ManchuKuo, all replicas of the ones in Tokyo. Interstingly there is a statue of a Canadian Doctor who spent most of his life helping the poor in China Posted by Picasa
